This pranayama practice helps to bring cooling sensation to your body. At the same time it helps to calm you. For a lot of us, when we feel like we are overheating, we naturally become overwhelmed as it is not a sensation we enjoy. So combining a cooling sensation with a feeling of calmness is a perfect combo for those times when we are overheating due to hormones, or the environment. Enjoy Bec x

Purposefully keeping our hands still and then being completely aware of this is a really effective and easy way to do this
When we are feeling overwhelmed, often we disconnect from our physical body, and we can live like this for a long time without even realising we are doing it.
A restorative session to create a sense of calmness throughout. Often what we crave during stages of perimenopause is for things that are not high intensity, we want something calming and cooling, and this is what this practice is for. This is not a traditional yoga session. It is a combination of strecthes and nerve flossing techniques that will hep to sooth sciatica pain.
